Keystone Healthcare is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our growing team in a varied and rewarding relief role. In this position, you will deliver and collect medical equipment for hospitals and aged care facilities across Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula, and Werribee, helping support high-quality patient care.
About the Role
· This is a relief/ad-hoc position providing cover for unplanned absences and pre-planned leave, often during school holidays and public holidays.
· Standard hours are 10:00 am to 6:00 pm across the week, including public holidays where required, in line with Australian public holiday employment entitlements for casual staff.
· Additional short-notice shifts and leave coverage opportunities may become available throughout the year.
· Fully paid training is provided over four/five days before working independently.
Key Responsibilities
· Deliver and collect medical equipment safely and efficiently across hospitals and aged care facilities.
· Enter wards and healthcare settings professionally and liaise confidently with ward staff and other healthcare personnel.
· Complete basic data entry tasks accurately, both online and on paper.
· Follow safe work practices, including manual handling and OH&S requirements.
· Work independently while contributing positively to the wider team.
· Adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic healthcare environment.
About You
· Previous experience delivering or installing medical equipment in healthcare facilities, or experience in patient transport services, is preferred but not essential.
· Experience in a customer service role, with the ability to liaise effectively with healthcare professionals or patients in hospital and aged care settings.
· Strong attention to detail and the ability to complete accurate records.
· Understanding of OH&S and manual handling practices; some lifting is required. [Safe Work Australia]() provides current guidance relevant to healthcare and social assistance work.
· Ability to work as part of an effective team while also being comfortable working independently.
· A valid Victorian driver’s licence, current Police Check, and Working with Children Check are mandatory.
· Up-to-date Influenza vaccination and previous COVID-19 vaccination evidence certificates are required.
