ABOUT THE POSITION:
As our People Experience Coordinator, you'll provide the administrative and coordination support that underpins a positive employee experience. Working across recruitment, onboarding and the broader employee lifecycle, you'll help the People & Culture team deliver responsive, accurate and customer-focused services.
Working closely with the People Experience Manager, you'll deliver responsive, customer-focused support that helps great people join, grow and thrive at one of the southern hemisphere's most iconic cultural organisations. Some of the key duties include:
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment administration - advertising vacancies, scheduling interviews and preparing recruitment documentation
- Support hiring managers and selection panels, keeping recruitment activities and timelines on track
- Maintain candidate records within our Applicant Tracking System with accuracy and confidentiality
- Coordinate pre-employment checks, employment offers and onboarding - helping new starters feel welcome from day one
- Provide administrative support across the employee lifecycle, including appointment, variation and separation processes, and prepare contracts, correspondence and records
- Maintain employee information across our HR systems with a sharp eye for detail and data integrity
- Respond to routine People Services enquiries and build effective relationships with managers, employees and stakeholders
- Support the delivery of People & Culture initiatives, projects and continuous improvement activities
The successful applicant will have:
- Demonstrated experience providing administrative support within a Human Resources or People & Culture environment
- Experience coordinating recruitment, onboarding or employee lifecycle administration
- Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with a talent for building effective working relationships
- Sharp attention to detail and a commitment to accurate records and confidentiality
- Confidence using HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing routine work independently
- An understanding of employment legislation, industrial instruments or Human Resources practices (desirable)
OTHER INFORMATION
This is an ongoing, full-time position. The salary on offer is VPS 3.2.1 base of grade - $91,971 per annum, pro rata + 12% Superannuation.
