Central Australian Aboriginal Congress is seeking a Graduate Occupational Therapist to join its multidisciplinary Allied Health team in Alice Springs. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your clinical skills while working within a culturally safe, community-controlled health service, with strong supervision and support from experienced clinicians.
The role:
Provide person-centred, evidence-based Occupational Therapy services.
Support clients to build independence, function and wellbeing across home, family and community settings.
Work across programs including NDIS, Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and Chronic Conditions.
Collaborate with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, Allied Health Assistants, nurses, GPs and other allied health professionals.
Participate in clinical supervision, professional development and multidisciplinary care planning.
Contribute to culturally responsive and strengths-based practice.
Occasional remote travel may be required.
About you:
Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent) and current AHPRA registration.
A genuine interest in working with Aboriginal communities and developing culturally safe practice.
Strong communication, teamwork and relationship-building skills.
Flexible and community-focused approach to service delivery.
Willingness and ability to travel to remote locations.
Current NT Driver Licence or ability to obtain.
