Kinetic Logging Services (KLS), an Epiroc company and a leading provider of geophysical services across Australia, is looking for an organised and proactive Operations Administration Assistant to join our team.
Based in our Kewdale office, you'll play a key role in supporting our field operations, working closely with supervisors and employees across multiple client sites. This is a varied, fast-paced role where no two days are the same, making it ideal for someone who enjoys multitasking, solving problems and keeping operations running smoothly.
About the Role
Reporting to the Operations team, you will provide essential operational and administrative support across a broad range of activities, including:
- Coordinating employee mobilisation, including site onboarding, travel, accommodation and roster administration.
- Assisting with timesheet administration, payroll adjustments and personnel logistics.
- Raising purchase orders, processing invoices and supporting procurement activities.
- Coordinating training bookings and maintaining employee training and Verification of Competency (VOC) records.
- Supporting field supervisors with maintenance work orders, service job administration and operational documentation.
- Maintaining accurate operational records and ensuring documentation is completed in a timely manner.
- Building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders while ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and client requirements.
- Contributing to the smooth day-to-day operation of the business by providing responsive support to the Operations team
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience in an administration, operations support or coordination role (experience within mining, resources or a similar industry will be highly regarded).
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build relationships across all levels of the business.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills. Experience with systems such as INX, Enable, Workflow or similar will be advantageous but is not essential.
