About the Role
Decmil is seeking a Site Administrator to work on our Peak Downs Mine Services Project. This role would be ideal for candidates based in and around Moranbah, Queensland.
Providing Site Administration support to our team, you will report to the Project Manager and work closely with the crew to enable safe, efficient and compliant delivery. This role will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient administrative and secretarial support to the Project Delivery team. Where applicable, this role has lead accountability for compliance with all systems, procedures and policies relating to Site Administration on the project.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to site and project teams
- Coordinate travel, accommodation, mobilisation, and site access for employees, visitors, and subcontractors
- Manage payroll administration, including timesheet processing, leave management, and approvals
- Ensure compliance with rostering guidelines, leave entitlements, and employment termination procedures
- Liaise with stakeholders to resolve payroll, roster, leave, and termination discrepancies
- Raise purchase orders, process invoices, and assist with procurement activities
- Support project financial administration, including month-end accruals and reporting requirements
- Maintain accurate site documentation, employee records, training records, and compliance files
- Manage filing systems, registers, and project records
- Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support project operations
Contribute to a safe, efficient, and positive site culture

What You’ll Bring
- Experience in Site Administration within mining/civil/construction.
- Minimum of 3 years' previous experience in Site Administration, preferably within the Construction or Resources industry.
- Previous site-based experience is highly desirable
- Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of standard site practice and procedures, e.g. booking travel and accommodation and managing rosters.
- Strong attention to detail and service mindset
- Clear communication and ability to work with different teams
- Commitment to safety, respect and doing things the right way
- Full right to work in Australia
