Trades School Australia is a newly established CRICOS RTO based in Artarmon focused on delivering high-quality vocational education and practical industry-based training outcomes.
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Trainer & Assessor to join our growing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and assessing the following nationally recognised units and qualifications:
- RIIWHS204E – Work Safely at Heights
- CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry
- CPC30620 – Certificate III in Painting and Decorating
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging face-to-face training sessions
- Facilitate and assess students’ assessments and competency outcomes
- Participate in validation and moderation activities
- Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and assessment documentation
- Mark assessments and provide learner support and feedback
- Maintain, review, and improve learning resources and assessment tools
- Ensure compliance with Australian VET, ASQA, and CRICOS requirements
Essential Criteria
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
- Recent or current industry experience within Building and Construction
- Formal qualification in Painting and Decorating
- Strong understanding of current industry standards and safe work practices
- Experience using Cloudemy or similar Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment
- High attention to detail and strong administrative capability
Desirable
- Experience training international students
- Knowledge of CRICOS compliance requirements
- Experience within the Australian VET sector
