Position: Restaurant Manager

Salary: from $80,000 to $90,000 p.a
About the role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to join the team at Bendooley Estate in Berrima NSW. The is a full-time role that will be responsible for overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of all our restaurant operations, including events and our Cellar Door restaurant. As Restaurant Manager you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the high standards that Bendooley is known for.
What you'll be doing
- manage all aspects of the restaurants day-to-day operations, including staff scheduling, workflow and inventory management
- ensure consistently high levels of customer service and satisfaction by leading training and creating a positive environment for everyone to work in
- develop and implement where necessary procedures and best practices to optimise efficient operations
- monitor performance and results to identify opportunities for improvement
- liaise with the kitchen team to coordinate menu planning, food preparation and delivery
- effectively communicate with guests seeking feedback and when necessary resolving any issues in a professional and timely manner
- ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and licencing regulations
What we're looking for
- extensive experience (5+ years) in a similar restaurant manager role
- proven track record of leading a front of house team to deliver exceptional service
- strong understanding and knowledge of all aspects of a food and beverage operation including menu planning, inventory management and cost control
- excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
- ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment
- a team player
- passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to provide exceptional service delivery
- current RSA qualifications
