The Role
This is a full-time, hands-on position working across both residential and commercial projects throughout the Perth metro area. No two days are the same — you might be forming up a concrete slab one day, laying paving the next, and finishing off a planting scheme the day after that.
You’ll report directly to our Business Owner and Construction Manager, who are actively involved in day-to-day operations. There’s a clear pathway for the right person to take on more responsibility and run their own jobs independently — including the use of a company site vehicle.
What You’ll Be Doing
Hard Landscaping & Construction
- Construct retaining walls in limestone and concrete block
- Install paving, concrete paths, slabs, and kerbing
- Build timber and composite decking, pergolas, and outdoor structures
- Carry out earthworks including bulk excavation, cut and fill, and site grading
- Operate plant and machinery: bobcat/skid steer, mini excavator, and plate compactor
- Install drainage systems including ag-pipe, pits, sumps, and stormwater connections
- Form up and pour concrete slabs and paths to a high standard
Soft Landscaping & Gardening
- Prepare and condition soil; install garden beds, turf, and groundcovers
- Plant trees, shrubs, and feature plants suited to Perth’s climate and conditions
- Install and commission reticulation and irrigation systems
- Apply mulch, edge gardens, and carry out all project finishing works
- Assist with ongoing maintenance between construction projects as needed
What You’ll Bring
We’re not after someone who just shows up — we want someone who takes ownership of their work and cares about the finished product. Ideally you’ll have:
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in landscaping construction or a related trade
- Solid experience across hard landscaping: paving, retaining walls, concrete, and decking
- Confidence operating plant and equipment — bobcat, excavator, compactor
- A current driver’s licence (manual preferred)
- A valid White Card (Construction Induction Card) — essential
- A good working knowledge of Perth soils, climate, and local plant species
- The ability to read basic plans and job sheets and work with minimal supervision
- A reliable, hardworking attitude and genuine respect for your teammates
Experience running your own jobs or leading a small crew will be highly regarded and opens the door to more responsibility and a site vehicle from day one.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
