We are an optical company committed to providing exceptional eye care services and quality eyewear. We are steadily growing our business and are seeking an Optical Retail Assistant/ Optical Dispenser to join our experienced and passionate customer service team at Eye Trend in Box Hill.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Joining the team as our Optical Retail Assistant/ Optical Dispenser, you will work as part of our diverse and vibrant team in a supportive and rewarding retail environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional and friendly service to our customers by explaining and recommending the right features of frames and lenses to meet customers' needs
- Maintain store appearance and atmosphere to enhance customer satisfaction and overall in-store experience
- Provide after-sales services including following up with customers’ feedback and offering technical services such as frame adjustments and basic repairs
- Understand our branding and keep up to date with our key products and eye care services, in order to increase brand awareness and deliver informative product knowledge when engaging with customers
- Assist and support other team members with technical knowledge
- Support each other in the team on a daily basis and work together to achieve store sales targets
- Build collaborative relationships with your peers (i.e. optometrists, optical dispensers and other optical professionals) in order to provide a seamless eye care experience for customers
A successful applicant for the role will:
- Have at least 1 year experience in the retail industry (optical dispensing experience is highly regarded)
- Possess positive and engaging communication skills
- Be committed to providing customer service excellence
- Have passion for eye care and eye health
- Thrive in a collaborative team environment
