About the role
As an SKG RN you will be responsible for providing high quality pre, intra and post procedure nursing care and education to patients attending our radiology department. In this role you will be involved in a range of duties such as assisting the Radiologist in interventional procedures including PICC line insertions, deep organ biopsies and nephrostomy tube insertion thereby utilising all of your ward nursing skills that apply in the radiology setting.
This position is based at our Hollywood site within the Hollywood Private Hospital in Nedlands, WA.
Whilst a background in medical imaging nursing will be highly regarded, we will provide training in the provision of care in a radiology department to the successful candidate.
Role requirements
- Degree/Diploma of Nursing or equivalent

Registration with AHPRA

Recent solid clinical nursing experience

A consistent Patients First focus

The ability to work both independently and within our wider medical imaging team

Excellent communication and time management skills
Please note that the successful candidate is required to provide evidence of vaccination/immunity/screening to a list of vaccine-preventable diseases prior to commencement of employment.
This is a Part Time position of 45 hours per fortnight, working Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Shifts of 7.5hrs are worked within the hours of 7.45am and 5.30pm hence flexibility with start and finish times is key. Participation in the weekend roster and on-call shifts is a requirement of this position.
