Overview
The Installation Technician is responsible for the professional installation of sliding wardrobe doors, shower screens, mirrors, and related custom products. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Install sliding wardrobe doors, shower screens, mirrors, and other custom products to a high standard.
- Conduct on‑site measurements to ensure accuracy before installation.
- Inspect products prior to installation to ensure quality and correct specifications.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding installation requirements, timelines, and any site‑related issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all job sites.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues on the spot when required.
- Liaise with the office and warehouse team regarding job progress, materials, and scheduling.
- Complete job documentation, including photos and notes, after each installation.
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards.
Skills & Experience
- Experience installing wardrobes, shower screens, mirrors, or similar building products.
- Strong practical skills and confidence using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret measurements and job sheets accurately.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Current driver’s licence.
