Carramar Aged Care Facility is a 38-bed residential aged care home located at the corner of Wade Avenue and Palm Avenue in Leeton, NSW. It is operated as a public sector facility by the Murrumbidgee Local Health District (part of NSW Health) and is located on the Leeton Hospital grounds.

What you’ll be doing
Using innovative, evidence-based education, you will professionally assess, plan, deliver and evaluate clinical education programs at Cootamundra and support individual midwives to deliver best practice care and positive patient outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
Inspiring and develop midwives through engaging education, coaching and bedside teaching
Lead orientation and transition programs to support new and transitioning staff to thrive in their roles
Partner with clinical leaders to identify learning needs and implement targeted education strategies
Promote patient safety, quality improvement and evidence-based practice through education and audit participation
Your contribution as a healthcare professional will have a meaningful and positive impact, which is felt at a community level.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
Current Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Relevant clinical experience (minimum 2 years in a specialty area)
Strong clinical teaching and facilitation skills, including competency assessment
Commitment to ongoing professional development and adult learning principles
Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and proven problem-solving ability within a clinical setting.
