Sunny Days Bakeshop is looking for an experienced full-time pastrycook for the business.
Job Duties:
· To prepare and select raw materials, and classify according to purported usages.
· To weigh and mix ingredients and prepare dough
· To operate and perform on essential dough baking and rolling equipment for the purpose to ferment, knead, mature, cut, shape, blend and roll ingredients and dough to produce bread, cakes and pastries, etc.
· To strictly control mixing times and load tins and trays into proofers and ovens
· To control baking time and observe the appearance of products
· To operate and coordinate the forming, loading and baking of batches of bread and rolls
· To unload ovens and de-panning and cooling bread and rolls
· To assist in the training and supervision of trainee bakers or pastry cooks
· To maintain the daily use of the equipment with high hygiene standards
· To adhere to the food and safety hygiene guidelines of the Health Department of WA
Pay: $77,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
