About the Role
Reporting to the Executive Manager Property and Facilities, you will provide end-to-end project management for major construction and infrastructure projects, typically exceeding $15 million in value. This includes the delivery of new aged care centres, retirement living developments, seniors' rental housing and associated infrastructure projects across established and greenfield sites.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, regulatory authorities and community representatives, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, sustainably, on time and within budget while supporting Sundale's Strategic Property Plan.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the delivery of major capital works, construction and infrastructure projects across Sundale's portfolio.
- Manage projects from concept, feasibility and design through to construction, commissioning and handover.
- Coordinate greenfield and brownfield developments, including enabling works and site preparation.
- Manage architects, engineers, consultants and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop feasibility studies, business cases, Board submissions and investment recommendations.
- Lead tendering, procurement and contract management activities.
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, risks and governance requirements.
- Drive stakeholder engagement with residents, operational leaders, community representatives and regulatory bodies.
- Deliver sustainable and innovative property solutions that support future service delivery requirements.·
Required qualifications or certificates
- Tertiary qualifications in a construction industry discipline such as Engineering, Construction Management or Project Management.
- Significant and proven experience managing major capital works projects.
- Current Queensland Driver Licence.
- Construction White Card.
- Demonstrated high-level project management skills.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, planning frameworks and construction requirements.
- Experience within aged care, retirement living, healthcare or multi-residential developments will be highly regarded.
- Police Check.
- Pre-employment medical assessment.
