Sips Cafe is looking for a full-time Sales and Marketing Manager to help drive business growth, increase revenue, build customer loyalty, and develop new sales opportunities through local partnerships, catering, corporate accounts, promotions, and customer engagement initiatives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing sales strategies, setting targets, monitoring performance, and working closely with management and staff to improve sales outcomes across the business.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales and business development strategies for Sips Cafe.
- Increase revenue through customer retention, local partnerships, catering opportunities, corporate clients, and promotional campaigns.
- Set sales targets and monitor weekly and monthly sales performance.
- Analyse customer trends, competitor activity, product performance, and market opportunities.
- Build relationships with local businesses, event organisers, community groups, suppliers, and potential corporate customers.
- Plan and support marketing activities, loyalty programs, seasonal campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Work with management to review product mix, pricing, promotions, and customer service standards.
- Train and guide staff on upselling, customer service, promotional offers, and sales processes.
- Prepare sales reports and recommend strategies to improve revenue and customer satisfaction.
- Support the cafe’s brand image, reputation, and long-term growth.
Requirements
- Qualification in business, sales, marketing, hospitality management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, business development, hospitality, cafe, restaurant, catering, or retail management.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to develop sales plans, set targets, and monitor performance.
- Strong understanding of customer service and hospitality operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with local area marketing, catering sales, or corporate partnerships will be highly regarded.
