About the Opportunity
Due to continued growth, we have multiple full time employment opportunities available for experienced Panel Beaters.
Working within a professional collision repair environment, you'll complete structural and non-structural vehicle repairs while working closely with Estimators, Production Managers, Spray Painters and Quality Controllers to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality repair outcomes hiring Across Multiple Queensland Locations including:
- Mansfield
- Underwood
- Crestmead
- Beenleigh
- Eagle Farm
- Ormeau
- Slacks Creek
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Assess vehicle body damage and determine appropriate repair methods in accordance with manufacturer specifications, repair procedures and workplace quality standards.
- Repair collision damage to steel, aluminium, fibreglass and plastic vehicle body components using appropriate trade techniques, tools and equipment.
- Remove, repair and reinstall damaged body panels, structural components, trims, mouldings, lighting assemblies and associated fittings.
- Operate chassis alignment systems, hydraulic pulling equipment, measuring systems and specialised repair tools to restore vehicle body dimensions.
- Reshape damaged panels through panel beating, metal finishing, shrinking and straightening techniques.
- Fabricate, modify or fit replacement panels and structural sections where required.
- Carry out welding, bonding and riveting repairs using approved repair methods.
- Prepare repaired surfaces ready for refinishing.
- Inspect completed repairs to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Liaise with Estimators, Production Managers, Spray Painters and Quality Controllers throughout the repair process.
- Identify additional damage requiring supplementary assessment.
- Maintain accurate repair records using workshop management systems.
- Maintain workshop equipment and comply with workplace health and safety requirements.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant trade qualification or equivalent industry experience.
- Full Time
- Minimum 2–3 years' experience as a Panel Beater within the collision repair industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive body repair techniques and structural repairs.
- Experience using chassis measuring and alignment equipment.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.

Salary
$85,000 – $115,000 plus superannuation, depending on skills and experience.
