Castleglen Filipino Foods is Australia’s leading Filipino Food & Toiletries importer. We supply dried and frozen Filipino foods, and health and beauty products throughout Australia to hundreds of Asian Supermarkets, as well as the growing number of Independent and Country supermarkets who are increasing their Asian and Filipino Food aisles.
Castleglen was originally established by Filipino Australian Hermie Gillis after recognising most Asian shops were not supplying products for the very unique tastes and brands that Filipinos love. With headquarters in Perth, Castleglen expanded our facilities and now service food retailers Australia wide. Due to our increased operations, We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced Office Manager to join our team.
About Position
The Office Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative, human resources, and operational functions of the Perth office. The role requires excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills to ensure efficient office operations and compliance with company policies and legislative requirements.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
· Assist in the planning and reviewing the office and business services,
· Assess priorities and office service standards and evaluate deadlines.
· Distribute human resources, workspace, and equipment to ensure smooth operations.
· Manage staff and monitor their performance to ensure quality and efficiency.
· Manage office records and accounts, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
· Liaise with management to coordinate office business and resolve issues.
· Oversee office facilities, ensuring buildings and equipment are properly maintained.
· Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and promote a safe work environment.
· Ensure office compliance with relevant legislation, company policies, and procedures.
· Organise recruitment, performance review, payroll processing, staff training, and supervision.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required
· Relevant Australian qualification or Overseas equivalent
· Minimum 1-2 year of experience in the industry as an office management or senior administrative role.
· Strong organisational and leadership abilities with excellent attention to detail.
· Sound knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements and office compliance procedures.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general administrative systems.
· Ability to multitask, prioritise workloads, and manage deadlines in a busy environment.
