Casual Retail Assistant – Fresh Seafood Market (New Store Opening!)

We’re opening a brand-new fresh seafood market this June and are looking for enthusiastic Casual Retail Assistants to join our team. If you love seafood, are reliable, eager to learn, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with friendly and efficient service
- Support daily store operations
- Cash handling, POS system, Using scale system to weigh items
- Help with stocking, display, and maintaining product presentation
- Keep the store clean and organised
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Assist with basic cleaning/gutting of fish (training provided)
About You
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must be available 10- 20 hours a week with ability to work weekends
- Experience in retail or hospitality is highly regarded (but not essential)
