The Role
We are seeking an experienced School Psychologist to provide high-quality psychological services to students predominantly within our Senior School. Working collaboratively with staff, students, and families, you will offer guidance, support, and evidence-based interventions to promote student wellbeing and foster a safe, inclusive, and thriving learning environment. This is a fixed-term position for Term 4, 2026, providing coverage for a period of long service leave. The role is part-time, working two days per week. Thursdays are essential.
You will have
- Current registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Highly developed counselling and psychological assessment skills
- Experience working as a psychologist with children and adolescents and parents/caregivers, ideally in a school setting from Kindergarten to Year 12
- Sound knowledge of child and adolescent development, learning and mental health
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the School community and other support services
- Experience creating and presenting professional learning to a range of audiences
- A current Anaphylaxis Certificate, National Police Check (obtained within the last six months), and a Working with Children Check (Employee) or be willing to obtain prior to commencement
