About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Building Surveyor to join our progressive Development Assessment team in our Macquarie Park Office on a 6-month fixed term contract with potential to increase to a 12-month fixed term contract. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing Class 1 and 10 development applications and assessing complying development applications. About You
You bring to this role demonstrated practical experience in dealing with assessment of development applications and complying development applications. You're a highly organised professional who prides themselves on their ability to make sound decisions, work efficiently in a high volume environment, provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders using your excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and conflict resolution.
In addition, you will also have:
- Tertiary qualification in building surveying or equivalent.
- Current accreditation with the Building Commission NSW to issue complying development certificates – Restricted (Class 1 and 10 Buildings).
- Excellent project management and organisational skills with ability to undertake a range of tasks and prioritise work to meet deadlines.
- Current NSW Class C Drivers Licence.
- Experience with the NSW Planning Portal, Technology One, Content Manager, Objective Trapeze, or similar software is highly regarded.
Internally the role is known as Building Surveyor Fast Track Team.
Your commencing annual salary will be ranging from $94,894.38 - $123,362.69 + superannuation, dependent on your experience and qualifications.
