Disability Support Worker – Domestic Assistance & Social Support
NurseLink Healthcare is seeking a reliable, compassionate, and person-centred Disability Support Worker to provide domestic assistance and social support to a participant in Brooman, NSW 2538.
Position Details
Location: Brooman, NSW 2538
Service Type: Domestic Assistance & Social Support
Services required:
- Domestic Assistance: Fortnightly, 2 hours per visit
- Social Support – In Home: Fortnightly, 2 hours per visit
- Social Support – Community: Every 6 weeks, 3 hours per visit
About the Role
The successful candidate will support a participant to maintain a clean and comfortable home environment, while also providing friendly companionship and meaningful social support.
Duties may include:
- General domestic assistance and household tasks
- Supporting the participant with maintaining their home
- Providing companionship and social interaction
- Supporting participation in suitable community activities and outings
- Encouraging independence, choice and confidence
- Building a respectful and positive relationship with the participant
- Providing support in accordance with the participant's individual needs and care plan

- Able to work independently and maintain professional boundaries
- Friendly and confident supporting community access
- Reliable with excellent communication skills
- Committed to providing high-quality support
Requirements
Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)
current Police Check required. NDIS Worker Screening Check preferred/required, depending o NDIS/disability support clearances and screening requirements, as applicable to the role.
A current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle may be required for community-based support.

Pay: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour
