About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Carpenter to join our growing construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out residential and commercial carpentry works, ensuring all projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of workmanship.

Essential Qualifications & Licensing Requirements
Applicants must possess:
- Australian Certificate III in Carpentry (CPC30220 or equivalent)
- Current State Carpentry Licence from an Australian State or Territory
- Must be eligible to obtain a Queensland QBCC Carpentry Licence under Mutual Recognition provisions
- Current White Card (Construction Industry General Safety Induction)
- Current Driver's Licence
- Ability to legally work in Australia
Key ResponsibilitiesCarpentry Works
- Perform all aspects of residential and commercial carpentry.
- Construct, install, repair, and maintain building structures and finishes.
- Interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Complete framing, fixing, fit-outs, decking, cladding, and renovation works.
- Ensure works comply with Australian Standards and Queensland Building Codes.
Site Management
- Coordinate daily site activities and subcontractors where required.
- Maintain safe work practices and comply with WHS regulations.
- Monitor workmanship quality and project timelines.
- Report project progress, delays, and issues to management.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards.
- Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
- Identify defects and implement corrective actions.
- Assist with inspections and compliance requirements.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualification carpentry experience.
- Strong knowledge of Australian building practices and standards.
- Experience in residential construction and renovations.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Desirable
- QBCC Licence (current or previously held).
- Experience supervising trades and subcontractors.
- First Aid Certificate.
- EWP, Working at Heights, or other construction-related tickets.
