About the role
We are seeking an experienced Underground Electrician to perform electrical maintenance tasks both breakdown and servicing on fixed plant.
Reporting to the Underground Electrical Supervisor, you will assist with reporting requirements and data entry within Pronto as well as be responsible for electrical support for the underground fixed plant hoisting and crushing systems, surface ventilation fans and various other electrical infrastructure.

Residents enjoy a balanced roster and the opportunity to settle into the family-friendly township of Cobar. Relocation support is available, along with a residential allowance
DIDO if you live within an 800km radius of the Mine site which includes a travel allowance
FIFO from Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne
Key responsibilities
Maintain electrical functionality, compliance, and preventative maintenance (PM) tasks across all PGM fixed plant in line with AS3000 and the site MECP
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical faults on fixed and mobile equipment during breakdown situations
Perform PLC programming, fault finding, and ensure all electrical work is completed to a high standard
Manage parts requisitions, tagging of damaged/repairable items, and maintain accurate records/data entry in Pronto or other required systems
Participate in daily shift meetings, maintain strong customer service with other departments, and uphold PGM procedures and safety standards
Maintain high housekeeping standards, accountability for workshop tooling, and required licences and tickets
Qualifications and experience
Electrical Trade Qualification
Current Driver’s License
Experience with Maintenance Management Systems (SAP, Pronto)
Demonstratable diagnostic, fault finding and decision-making skills
Self-motivated and team orientated, with good communication skills.
