Music Teacher (Primary School Programs) – Multiple Locations Across Melbourne

At Junior Rockers, we deliver fun, engaging music programs to primary school students across Melbourne and online. Our mission is to help young students build confidence, develop musical skills, and fall in love with music through contemporary songs and structured learning.
We’re currently looking for passionate and reliable music teachers to join our growing team.
The Role
You’ll be teaching small group lessons in primary schools, helping students learn, play, and perform in a supportive and high-energy environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering engaging music lessons (25–30 mins) during school hours
- Teaching a mix of practical skills and basic music theory
- Providing feedback to students and parents through lesson diaries
- Creating a fun, inclusive, and structured learning environment
Requirements
- Minimum 2 instruments required (must include a combination of: drums, guitar, piano, singing)
- Experience working with children (teaching or similar)
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and professional attitude
- Valid Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Driver’s licence and access to a car (preferred)
- Willingness to travel (up to 45mins from home)

Pay: $36.00 per hour
