We're excited to welcome a Registered Nurse to our Inpatient Unit 5D team.
The Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) Cancer Care Service (CCS) is the leading provider of integrated evidence-based care for persons affected by cancer and blood disorders within the Sunshine Coast Community.

Ward 5D is the dedicated Oncology, Haematology and Palliative Care inpatient unit for the SCHHS Cancer Care Services.
Care is delivered by an interdisciplinary team where nurses are integral to care planning and delivery. The 5D Team works closely with our onsite and satellite outpatient Cancer Care Units.
Key Responsibilities include:
demonstrate competence in the provision of nursing care as specified by registration requirements, NMBA standards and codes, education preparation, relevant legislation and context of care
Oral and intravenous chemotherapy administration is a mandatory requirement of Registered Nurses within 5D. Full training and support will be provided to achieve this competency.
Actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, work health and safety and ethical behaviour.
Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service Values.
Salary between $3,348.80 - $4,295.40 p.f. (f/t) or salary rates: $44.06 - $56.51 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 5) (Multiple positions available full time or part time for up to twelve months with possibility of extension.)
