We are seeking a skilled and reliable Automotive Fitter to join our busy automotive repair shop. The successful candidate will be responsible for fitting, repairing, and replacing automotive parts while ensuring high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Fit and replace automotive components / parts
- Perform repairs and installations according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards
- Use hand tools and diagnostic equipment correctly and safely
- Test vehicles after fitting to ensure proper operation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members regarding job status
- Adhere to workplace health and safety regulations
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as an Automotive Fitter / Technician / Mechanic
- Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid driver’s license
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Trade qualification in Automotive or related field
- Experience in a fast-paced automotive repair environment
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and workshop equipment
