About the West Moreton Health Research Team
We empower health service staff to deliver evidence-informed, innovative care for the West Moreton community. We support research across West Moreton Health, including research development, research ethics and governance, and assist researchers to develop and access funding for research opportunities.
We support clinical trials by providing a site start-up service, oversee clinical trials clinical governance and promote the Australian Teletrials Model for clinical trial research.
What we're looking for
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
Knowledge, expertise, and skill in clinical trial research methodology and conduct in clinical and health service settings including, but not limited to, protocol development, budget negotiation, monitoring key outcomes and safety endpoints related to clinical trial treatments using high-level clinical assessment and problem-solving skills, and completion of accurate Case Report Forms with verifiable source documentation and data entry.
High-level clinical trial management skills, with knowledge of relevant guidelines and legislation including Therapeutics Goods Administration adoption of International Council for Harmonisation Good Clinical Practice (TGA ICH GCP), applicable international regulatory requirements and applicable National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) guidelines.
HP4 $64.64 - $69.55 per hour
NG6(1) $57.76 - $61.85 per hour
Mandatory Requirements
Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association within Australia.
