Clerk Grade 3/4, Salary $84,659 - $92,701 pa plus superannuation and leave loading

The Corrections Intelligence Group (CIG) provides high level intelligence support to Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) stakeholders and various law enforcement agencies. Intelligence products disseminated by the CIG assist with decision making processes around the management of offenders in custody and under community corrections supervision.
Your role
The Intelligence Support Officer undertakes a range of intelligence based administrative services to support stakeholders involved in the management of offenders in custody and under community corrections supervision. You will be a point of contact for enquiries and will prioritise accordingly and resolve/ re direct for resolution. All actions including administrative processes are required to be documented and stored appropriately.
What we’re looking for
Applicants for this role are required to have a basic understanding of the role of intelligence in the correctional environment (or equivalent), a strong customer focus with good interpersonal skills, a capacity to interpret information and complete data entry and report development in computerised systems. The following set of skills are required:
High level of professionalism, confidentiality and discretion
Proficient in the use of computers and data entry
Self-directed and highly motivated
Strong team player and proven ability to work collaboratively
Efficient and effective time management skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise work tasks
Sound written and verbal communication skills
The ability to work calmly and effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic operational environment

It serves a key function providing effective, safe and humane management of offenders both in custody and in the community CSNSW also works in partnership with other government and community agencies to ensure that offenders and their families are supported.
