ANDS is looking for compassionate, reliable and motivated Disability Support Workers to join our growing team. We provide person-centred support to NDIS participants across Melbourne, including complex and forensic support settings.

About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide daily support to participants in line with their individual goals, care plans and needs.
Supports may include:
- Assisting with daily living activities
- Community access and social support
- Personal care support
- Transport to appointments and activities
- Medication assistance
- Supporting participants to build independence and life skills
- Accurate shift note documentation and reporting
- Supporting participants with complex behaviours when required
Shifts may include:
- Day shifts
- Afternoon shifts
- Overnight/sleepover shifts
- Weekend work
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking support workers who are:
- Reliable and professional
- Compassionate and patient
- Strong communicators
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Comfortable working in challenging environments
- Committed to participant dignity, choice and safety
Essential Requirements
- Certificate III or IV in Disability/Aged Care
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check (preferred)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
- Smartphone with the ability to complete digital shift notes
- Full Australian working rights
Experience within the disability sector is preferred.
