Merri-bek Early Years Management (MEYM) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Cert III or Diploma qualified educator for a permanent part time role working at our St Linus Kindergarten in Hadfield. We would ideally like our candidate to commence with MEYM in Week 2 or 3 of Term 3, 2026. The successful applicant will assist in delivering sessional, government funded kindergarten programs with the support and guidance of a highly qualified Early Childhood Teacher as part of a dedicated team of educators. As a valued member of our team, you will: * Contribute to engaging, play-based environments that foster children’s curiosity, creativity, and development. * Support children’s growth through positive role modelling, relationship building, and evidence-based teaching practices. * Work alongside passionate educators and teachers, sharing knowledge, learning from diverse experiences, and contributing to strong educational outcomes. * Champion children’s safety and wellbeing through vigilant supervision, respectful relationships, and adherence to MEYM’s child-safe policies and procedures. * Collaborate in planning and documenting learning experiences that reflect children’s interests, developmental needs, and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF). Pay rates and conditions are commensurate with the VECTEA 2020 and will reflect the candidate’s experience and qualifications. As a stand‑alone kindergarten provider, MEYM offers an attractive leave arrangement, with staff accessing 10 weeks of leave per year and working during term time only.
