We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Social Worker who is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care within professional, ethical, and legislative frameworks. You will demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills, a commitment to continuous learning and professional development, and the ability to work effectively with consumers, carers, and a broad range of stakeholders. The successful candidate will value cultural diversity, uphold the AASW Code of Ethics and NSW Health values, contribute to quality improvement activities, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and be flexible in supporting service needs, including participation in weekend and out-of-hours services when required.
Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.
- A Social Work degree which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- Demonstrated experience in a health related field and ability to provide a range of Social Work interventions.
- Demonstrated experience prioritising work and managing stressful situations.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Demonstrated high level communication skills (written and verbal) and computer skills.
- Evidence of commitment to clinical supervision and professional learning.
- Demonstrated understanding of, and commitment to quality processes, and the application of evidenced based practice within social work.
- Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
