We are seeking an organised, proactive and client-focused Mortgage Broker Support professional to join our small team in our Yarraville office.
This role would suit someone with mortgage broking, banking, lending or financial-services administration experience who enjoys helping clients, managing applications and improving the way a business operates.
The position is available on either a part-time basis of at least three days per week or full-time, depending on the successful applicant.
About the role
You will work closely with our mortgage broker to help manage loan applications from initial enquiry through to settlement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and packaging residential loan applications
- Collecting, reviewing and organising supporting documents
- Providing regular updates and customer service to clients
- Liaising with lenders, assessors and lender BDMs
- Ordering credit reports, property valuations and other application requirements
- Monitoring applications and following up outstanding items
- Assisting with loan settlements and post-settlement tasks
- Improving internal processes, checklists, templates and client communications
- Maintaining accurate CRM and file notes
- Assisting with basic content creation and marketing activities
- Preparing settlement gifts and helping create a positive client experience
- Providing general administrative support to the team

Previous experience in mortgage broking, lending, banking, conveyancing, finance or a similar administration role would be highly regarded.
Experience using mortgage-broking software, lender portals, CRMs or document-management systems would also be beneficial, but training can be provided to the right person.
