About the Role
As we enter our busy season, Impressions Catering is recruiting for our Casual Event Staff Pool! We are looking for energetic, positive, and hardworking people to join our friendly team. This pool is perfectly suited for individuals who have morning availability (such as parents looking for school-hours work) or students with daytime flexibility. Evening and weekend shifts are also widely available!
Key Responsibilities
- Food & Front-of-House Service: Providing exceptional customer service covering all of our menus including canapé, buffet and plated meals for weddings / private / corporate events across various locations. Assisting with food preparation duties, cleaning up, washing dishes after functions.
- Event Support & Deliveries: Assisting with basic food preparation, loading/unloading delivery vans, venue setup, and cleaning up/washing dishes after functions.
- Barista & Beverage Service: Preparing and serving high-quality coffees, hot drinks, and non-alcoholic beverages.
What We Are Looking For
- Must have a valid Australian Driver’s Licence and own reliable transport. One-way travel is paid for jobs located over 35km from our main kitchen.
- Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) would be a plus (an opportunity for more shifts)
- Food Safe Training Certificate (or willingness to complete our free in-house training).
- Availability for weekdays, evenings and weekends as required
Skills & Attitude:
- Prior barista experience or baseline coffee-making skills are highly regarded.
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude with a great team mindset.
- A genuine passion for people and outstanding customer service.
