SUPPORT WORKERS WANTED – JOIN OUR TEAM
AllCare Nursing and Disability Services is currently recruiting qualified and experienced Disability Support Workers to join our growing team.
We are looking for compassionate, reliable and professional Support Workers who are passionate about helping people with disabilities live safely, independently and confidently in their homes and communities.
Position: Disability Support Worker
Key Responsibilities
- Assistance with personal care and activities of daily living
- Community access and social participation
- Supported Independent Living (SIL) support
- Assistance with household activities
- Medication assistance within scope and competency
- Supporting participants with mental health and psychosocial disabilities
- Implementing individual support and behaviour support plans
- Completing accurate progress notes and documentation
- Promoting participant choice, dignity, independence and safety
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services or equivalent
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current First Aid and CPR
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Manual Handling training
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
- Reliable vehicle and appropriate insurance
- Australian working rights
- Good communication and documentation skills
Previous experience in disability support, mental health, complex behaviours, SIL or high-intensity supports will be highly regarded.
