Experienced Casual Warehouse Storeperson
Two weekdays per week | 5–6 hours per day | $40 per hour plus super

We are looking for an experienced, reliable Warehouse Storeperson to join our team on a casual basis.
This position may particularly suit an experienced warehouse professional seeking a steady, flexible role later in their career. It offers regular weekday hours, independent responsibility and the opportunity to remain active while contributing valuable practical experience.
Hours
Initially, the position will involve:
- Two days per week
- Approximately 5–6 hours per day
- Days to be selected from Wednesday, Thursday and Friday by mutual agreement
- Additional hours when assistance is required to unload containers
Key responsibilities
- Pick and prepare customer orders for the following week
- Perform cyclic stock counts and maintain accurate stock records
- Organise stock and maintain an orderly warehouse
- Identify and report low-stock items
- Operate a forklift safely when required
- Assist with unloading containers
- Help maintain a safe, clean and efficient working environment
About you
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a warehouse storeperson or similar role
- A current forklift licence and practical forklift-operating experience
- Sound judgment and the ability to make sensible decisions independently
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Good stock-control and organisational skills
- A dependable, responsible and safety-conscious attitude
- The physical capacity to remain active and safely perform light lifting
- The ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
Pay and classification
- $40 per hour, including casual loading
- Superannuation paid in addition
- Applicable overtime and penalty rates paid in accordance with the relevant award
- Indicative classification: Storeworker Grade 3 under the Storage Services and Wholesale Award 2020 (MA000084)
