Gold Coast Chinese Christian Church (GCCCC) is seeking an English Pastor to serve our English congregation in Arundel, Gold Coast.
GCCCC is a non-denominational, evangelical, Bible-believing church that has served the Chinese community on the Gold Coast for over 30 years. We are a multilingual and multigenerational church with Cantonese, Mandarin, and English congregations, as well as Children’s Sunday School.
About the role
The English Pastor will shepherd and disciple the English congregation, support ministry leaders, and help develop the English and youth ministries. This role will suit someone who has a heart for English-speaking Asian and cross-cultural ministry within a multilingual church environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide spiritual leadership and pastoral care for the English congregation
- Prepare and deliver biblically faithful sermons and Bible studies
- Support discipleship, mentoring, and spiritual growth
- Encourage outreach and evangelism within the local community
- Work with the Senior Pastor, Church Committee, pastoral staff, and ministry leaders
- Help build unity and mutual support across the Cantonese, Mandarin, and English congregations
Selection criteria
- Formal ministry-related degree, such as BTh, BMin, MDiv, or equivalent
- Prior pastoral or ministry experience is valued, especially in a cross-cultural setting
- Fresh seminary graduates are welcome to apply
- Fluent written and spoken English
- A heart to serve an English-speaking Asian congregation
- Spiritually mature, relational, and committed to biblical teaching and discipleship
