We’re looking for an experienced, energetic and hands-on Store Manager to lead our team at Zarraffa’s Coffee Belmont.
This is a genuine store leadership role for someone who takes ownership, sets high standards and enjoys developing a strong team around them.
The package
$72,000 base salary + superannuation
Plus the opportunity to earn quarterly performance bonuses of up to $4,000, giving you the potential to earn up to $88,000 + super per year when KPI targets are achieved.
About the role
As Store Manager, you'll take responsibility for the day to day performance and operation of the store.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading, coaching and developing your team
- Recruiting, onboarding and training new team members
- Rostering and managing labour effectively
- Maintaining excellent customer service and product quality
- Managing stock, ordering and wastage
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and store presentation
- Monitoring store performance and achieving agreed KPIs
- Identifying problems and following through on solutions
- Creating a positive, accountable and productive team culture
- Ensuring company procedures, food safety and operational standards are consistently followed
This is a hands-on role. We're looking for a manager who leads from the front and is comfortable jumping onto the floor, making coffees, serving customers and supporting the team when the store gets busy.
Who we're looking for
You'll ideally have previous management experience in hospitality, quick-service restaurants, cafés or retail.
More importantly, we're looking for someone who:
- Is reliable, organised and takes ownership
- Is confident leading and holding a team accountable
- Communicates clearly and professionally
- Can make decisions without needing every problem solved for them
- Understands the importance of labour and cost control
- Enjoys coaching younger team members and helping them develop
- Maintains high standards even when the store is busy
- Can manage competing priorities and remain calm under pressure
- Is available across a flexible roster, including early mornings and weekends
Previous coffee experience is an advantage, but strong leadership and the right attitude are more important. We can teach our systems, products and standards.
