About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Supervisor. This position is responsible for the comprehensive planning and implementation of all site work undertaken by Exhibit Systems and is of critical significance being the final link in a complex chain of roles and responsibilities resulting in the exhibition. This role is the Company’s representative on the ground and the critical interface with the client.
Responsibilities Include:
- Fully coordinate and understand all components of a job before it leaves the factory ensuring that on-site everything is ready to complete the job quickly, efficiently and professionally.
- Anticipate any problems or issues that may arise and take preparatory action to mitigate these risks.
- Undertake all planning and preparatory work for the installation/dismantle of exhibitions within allocated time frames and budget.
- Plan, book, lead and manage all in-house and contract labour for work performed on-site,
- Co-ordinate all on-site details by organising trucks, forklifts, sub-contractors, venue access & dismantle times, specialist tools, specialist labour and standard site tool boxes, etc.
- Manage and lead a crew of sub-contractors to build/dismantle the exhibition while on-site.
- Act as the Company's representative on-site always ensuring quality control standards, meeting client expectations and honouring our commitments.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in site supervision/project management, (installation/dismantle) of exhibitions/trade shows/events or similar,
- Superior planning, time management and organisational skills,
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a hands-on approach,
- Full understanding of Work Health and Safety issues pertaining to on-site work,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
- Ability to meet tight timelines and work under pressure,
- Excellent attention to detail,
- High-level problem solving and critical decision-making skills and a highly professional work ethic,
- Fork lift licence would be advantageous,
- Driver's licence essential,
- Ability to work across weekends and after hours,
- Permanent work rights in Australia are essential.
Competitive salary plus super, paid overtime and a company vehicle. Salary will be commensurate with skills and experience.

Pay: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
