Pharmacy Assistant – TerryWhite Chemmart Manly
About the Role
TerryWhite Chemmart Manly is looking for a friendly, reliable and proactive Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Manly, QLD. This is a hands on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast paced, community focused environment where professional healthcare advice and genuine customer service go hand in hand.
We are seeking candidates with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail and a passion for helping others. Previous pharmacy experience is preferred; however, we welcome applicants with strong retail backgrounds who are eager to learn and develop within the pharmacy setting.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting customers with product enquiries, over-the-counter medicines (S2/S3), and general health advice
- Processing transactions and providing efficient point-of-sale service
- Replenishing stock, merchandising shelves and maintaining store presentation
- Assisting pharmacists with stock control, including unpacking orders and stock rotation
- Supporting in-store health services and promotions
- Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for all customers
- Working collaboratively with the team to deliver a high standard of care and service
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail/customer service role (pharmacy experience highly regarded)
- Knowledge of S2/S3 medicines and confidence in customer interactions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A team-oriented mindset with a flexible and proactive approach
- Willingness to learn and grow within the TerryWhite Chemmart network
- A genuine interest in health and community care
