Employee or subcontractor arrangement available
Hornsby Physio & Chiro Clinic is looking for a caring and motivated Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team.
This position will initially be part-time, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as your caseload develops. We are also open to discussing a genuine subcontractor arrangement with the right practitioner.
Our clinic serves a large Chinese-speaking community and works closely with local GPs. Many of our patients require healthcare discussions in Chinese, so professional fluency in Chinese and English is required for this role.
About the role
You will manage a varied caseload that may include:
- Private musculoskeletal patients
- Medicare Chronic Condition Management patients
- Women’s health and pelvic health presentations
- Aged-care patients
- NDIS participants
- WorkCover and CTP patients
- Exercise rehabilitation and injury prevention
- Postural and movement-related conditions
You will work alongside chiropractors, physiotherapists and local GPs to provide coordinated, patient-centred care.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
- Communicates proficiency in both Chinese and English
- Has strong musculoskeletal assessment and rehabilitation skills
- Has an interest in or experience with women’s health or pelvic health
- Genuinely cares about patient outcomes and long-term improvement
- Is comfortable working independently while contributing to a team
- Communicates clearly with patients, families, GPs and other providers
- Is willing to manage a mixed private, Medicare, aged-care, NDIS, WorkCover and CTP caseload
- Holds appropriate professional indemnity insurance
- Has valid Australian working rights
Experience is preferred, but we are also open to a capable early-career physiotherapist who is eager to learn and develop.
What we offer
- Part-time hours with a clear pathway to a full-time position
- Salary of $80,000–$110,000 + super, pro rata, depending on experience and capabilities
- Subcontractor arrangement available by negotiation
- Regular clinical mentoring and case discussions
- A professional development allowance of up to $1,000 per year
- Support to develop your skills in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, women’s health, posture and long-term patient management
- A varied and growing caseload
- Referrals and collaboration with local GPs
- A supportive multidisciplinary environment
- A clinic that values clinical thinking, responsibility and genuine patient care
How to apply
Please submit your CV and a short cover letter outlining:
- Your physiotherapy experience
- Your level of Mandarin and English proficiency
- Your experience or interest in musculoskeletal and women’s health physiotherapy
