Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking an additional experienced Auto Electrician on an 8/6 roster to join our team at Genesis (Mt Morgan – Goldfields).
We are open to other rosters if you prefer (4/2 or 2/1) – please let us know in your application.
On a 2/1 roster, we will pay 1 flight (direct where available) to Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra, Brisbane, Cairns, Townsville, Hobart, Launceston, Burnie & Darwin, flying with Virgin or Qantas. We now offer 1 flight (direct where available) on a 2/1 roster to various airports across Southeast Asia (e.g. Bali/Thailand/Philippines & Vietnam) Christchurch & Auckland.
On a 4/2 roster, we will pay both flights (direct where available) from/to Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra, Brisbane, Cairns, Townsville, Hobart, Launceston, Burnie & Darwin, flying with Virgin or Qantas. We now offer 2 flights (direct where available) on a 4/2 roster to various airports across Southeast Asia (e.g. Bali/Thailand/Philippines & Vietnam) Christchurch & Auckland.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Focus on maintaining/repairing our fleet of Kenworth Prime Movers, Bruce Rock/Roadwest/Boomerang Trailers, Komatsu Loaders/Graders & Light Vehicles
- Actively participate in promoting and upholding our positive approach to safety
- Respectful & honest communication with Leading Hands and your fellow team members
- Maintain compliance to service schedule and ensure compliance with all necessary paperwork
You will be responsible for the management, oversight and maintenance, service and repair of:
- Kenworth C509 and T909's (New/Modern fleet)

Komatsu WA600 and WA500 Wheel Loaders

Komatsu GD655 Graders
-
Service Trucks
- Toyota Light Vehicles

Ancillary Equipment - Generators, Lighting Plant etc.
To be considered for this role, successful applicants will possess or able to obtain the following:

Prior Experience (3+ years) in a similar role

Cert III in Automotive Electrical technology

Air Conditioning Ticke/Refrigerant handling license qualification

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical

National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one
- Must hold Australian working rights
