A well-established early childhood education and care service in the Campbelltown region is seeking an outstanding Centre Director to lead their dedicated team. This is an exceptional vacancy with a provider committed to delivering outstanding educational outcomes for children and families.
You will have full ownership of the centre's operations — from cultivating a high-performing team culture to driving enrolment growth and ensuring the highest standards of compliance and quality across the service.
What you'll be responsible for
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a strong team of experienced educators to achieve best-practice outcomes
- Driving and maintaining centre occupancy through strategic enrolment management and community engagement
- Managing the centre's budget with financial acumen — monitoring expenditure, forecasting, and maximising operational efficiency
- Ensuring full compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Law, and all relevant regulations
- Championing a positive, inclusive, and reflective workplace culture aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Building and sustaining strong relationships with families, the local community, and regulatory bodies
- Overseeing curriculum direction and supporting educators in delivering high-quality programs
- Collaborating with ownership/management on strategic planning and continuous service improvement
Who we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Centre Director or Nominated Supervisor is essential
- Demonstrated success in building and sustaining strong centre occupancy
- Solid experience in budget management and the financial administration of an early childhood service
- Exceptional people-leadership skills with a track record of developing and retaining high-performing educator teams
- In-depth knowledge of the NQF, National Regulations, and contemporary early childhood pedagogy
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills across families, staff, and regulatory bodies
- A calm, solutions-focused mindset with the confidence to lead through change
