We're looking for an experienced and motivated A-Grade Electrician to join our team, focusing primarily on rental property inspections, maintenance, repairs and fault finding across Melbourne.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, solving problems, and dealing directly with tenants and property managers.
The Role
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Completing rental property electrical inspections.
- Fault finding and electrical repairs.
- Switches, powerpoints and lighting repairs.
- Smoke alarm testing, servicing and replacement.
- Safety switch and switchboard testing.
- General electrical maintenance.
- Minor installation works.
- Identifying defects and recommending repairs.
- Completing digital job reports and compliance paperwork.
- Providing excellent customer service to tenants and property managers.
No large construction projects or rough-ins this role is focused on maintenance and repairs.
What You'll Need
- Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- White Card.
- Excellent fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual and well presented.
- Experience with rental maintenance (preferred but not essential).
