Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at Turquoise Cafe! The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of service, and managing a team to provide an exceptional guest experience. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff to ensure efficient operation.
- Ensure the highest level of customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Manage and resolve any operational issues or guest complaints promptly.
- Oversee and support the training and development of team members.
- Monitor and maintain standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Duty Manager (or in a similar role) in a high volume/fast paced environment within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills including delegation.
- Barista skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with a calm and professional demeanor.
- Availabilty to work morning shifts, weekends and public holidays.
