Project Info ACCIONA leads the Alkimos Seawater Alliance with Water Corporation and Jacobs to design, build and operate Perth's new $2.8 billion seawater desalination plant. Stage 1 will deliver 50 billion litres of drinking water a year from 2028, securing supply for more than 2.5 million Western Australians.
About the Opportunity As Contracts and Procurement Manager, you will lead the contract administration and procurement function for the Alkimos Seawater Alliance, reporting to the Commercial Lead. You will mentor and guide the contracts and procurement team, oversee supplier, subcontractor and consultant agreements, and work closely with the Project Management team to shape commercial strategy. This is a high-impact role spanning cost management, risk mitigation and stakeholder engagement on a landmark water infrastructure project.
Key Accountabilities

Lead and mentor the contracts and procurement team

Identify, log and mitigate contract and supply chain risks

Drive monthly cost management, reporting and forecasting

Oversee supplier, subcontractor and consultant agreements

Support resolution of commercial disputes and claims

Champion safety, compliance and process improvement
Required Skills and Competencies

Degree in Commerce, Law, Quantity Survey or related field

Proven experience leading contracts and procurement teams

Strong knowledge of contract law and procurement processes

Experience on major infrastructure or alliance projects

Sound commercial and risk management acumen
