Genuine Connection Care is seeking passionate and dependable Disability Support Workers to join our growing team. We are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support that empowers participants to live independently, achieve their goals, and remain actively engaged in their communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities
- Support participants with household and domestic tasks
- Facilitate community access, social engagement, and recreational activities
- Deliver emotional support and build positive relationships with participants
- Follow individual support plans and promote participant choice and independence
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and incident reporting when required
- Ensure participant safety, dignity, and wellbeing at all times
Essential Requirements
Applicants must hold the following:
- Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support, Aged Care, Community Services, or equivalent
- Proof of Australian working rights
- Current Driver Licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Current National Police Check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Manual Handling Certificate
- Infection Control Certificate
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module – Quality, Safety and You
- Relevant industry qualifications and training
