The Role
This is a newly created senior opportunity reporting directly to our Chief Strategy Officer in our Banyo offices (near the airport) with working from home days where you will act ats a critical commercial partner with our Executive leadership Teams focusing on everything from: customer behaviour to complex pricing strategies.
Your mission? Deliver the commercial and strategic insights that help us reach more Australians and directly impact our bottom line.
Your Main Responsibilities
Strategic Growth & Profitability: Own the development of commercial analyses to maximize revenue and margins across all product categories.
Commercial Translation: Moving beyond the "what" to the "so what"—translating data into clear, strategic recommendations for the executive team.
Customer Insights: Lead deep-dive cohort analysis to understand Lifetime Value (LTV) and provide recommendations that drive sustainable growth.
Product & Pricing Strategy: Lead the SKU rationalisation process and support pricing reviews and promotional ROI assessments.
Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to cross-functional teams, ensuring timely data-driven decision-making is at the heart of our operations.
Project Leadership: Provide expert strategic reporting and insights for new growth projects and product launches.
What You’ll Bring to the Table
Strategic Insights!
Education & Experience
A degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or Statistics.
5+ years of seasoned experience in revenue management, pricing, or commercial analytics.
Proven experience understanding the customer
Proven Commercial Acumen: You have lived experience in a fast-paced environment where you’ve seen how strategy translates into P&L performance.
E-commerce or Retail experience is highly regarded.
Technical Skills & Maturity
Excel Expert: Advanced modelling and analysis skills are a given.
Visual Thinker: Proficiency in Power BI or similar data visualisation tools.
Data Driven: SQL proficiency is a distinct advantage.
