The Role – Café All-Rounder
As a Café All-Rounder, you'll work across different areas of the store to help keep the drive-thru running efficiently.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Greeting and serving customers with a friendly attitude.
- Taking customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Preparing coffee, beverages and light food items to Espresso Lane standards.
- Processing customer payments.
- Maintaining clean and organised work areas.
- Restocking supplies throughout the shift.
- Working closely with your teammates to maintain a smooth workflow during busy periods.
What We're Looking For
You'll be well suited to this role if you:
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- Are reliable and punctual.
- Have a positive attitude and are willing to learn.
- Are comfortable multitasking while maintaining accuracy.
- Communicate well with customers and teammates.
- Can work early mornings, weekends and public holidays when required.
- Have café, retail or fast-food experience (preferred but not essential).
Training & Trial Period
All successful applicants will complete a paid training and trial period.
The purpose of this trial is to allow both you and Espresso Lane to determine whether the role is the right fit.
During this period, we will provide coaching, guidance and ongoing feedback while assessing areas such as:
- Customer service.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to learn our systems and procedures.
- Speed and accuracy.
- Multitasking.
- Teamwork and communication.
- Overall suitability for the role.
As this is a fast-paced drive-thru environment, not every applicant will find the role to be the right fit. Successful completion of the trial period is required before ongoing employment is confirmed.
