About the Role
As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality meals while maintaining exceptional food safety and kitchen standards. You will work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to deliver a consistent and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items to a consistently high standard.
- Assist with menu development and seasonal menu changes.
- Monitor food quality, presentation and portion control.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with ordering, stock rotation and stock control.
- Minimise food waste and maintain kitchen efficiency.
- Supervise and support junior kitchen staff where required.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment.
- Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams.
Essential Requirements
- Relevant commercial cookery qualification (Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent).
- Minimum of two years' experience working as a Chef in a busy commercial kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.

Pay: $79,500.00 – $82,000.00 per year
