A Senior Guest Service Agent (Senior GSA) is an experienced front office professional who performs all the duties of a Guest Service Agent while also providing leadership, mentoring junior staff, and supporting the Front Office Supervisor or Manager.
Senior Guest Service Agent Job Description
Key responsibilities include:
- Welcoming VIP and regular guests and ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Managing guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Handling reservations, room assignments, and special guest requests.
- Resolving complex guest complaints and service issues.
- Training, mentoring, and supporting new Guest Service Agents.
- Assisting with scheduling and coordinating front desk operations during shifts.
- Monitoring cash handling, billing, and daily financial reports.
- Ensuring compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards.
- Coordinating with housekeeping, maintenance, food & beverage, and other departments.
- Assisting the Front Office Supervisor or Manager in achieving departmental goals.
- Preparing shift handover reports and maintaining accurate guest records.
- Taking responsibility for front desk operations in the absence of the supervisor.
Pay: $5,800.00 – $7,500.00 per month
